Fluoropolymer based powder coatings designed to meet and exceed the stringent requirements of the American Architectural Manufacturers Associations (AAMA). Meets or exceeds performance levels set forth in AAMA 2605(supersedes AAMA 605.2) voluntary specifications. Fluoropolymer resin systems outperform all other paint coatings for resistance to weathering, chalking, fading, gloss retention, and ultraviolet degradation. Excellent resistance to airborne chemicals, acid rain, salt air, and cleaning solvents. The use of only premium inorganic pigments ensures vivid colors with superior color fastness. Film thickness of 2.5 - 3.5 mills is twice the thickness of liquid coatings. This means extra protection against corrosion and chemical penetration. Harder finish (2H-3H) versus liquid paints (HB-H), offering superior scratch and abrasion resistance along with overall durability. Environmentally friendly product as it is free of Volatile organic compounds (VOC's), solvents, and HAP emissions. Manko Window Systems Inc. utilizes a multi-stage high tech pretreatment system for proper pretreatment and conversion coating of aluminum extrusions prior to painting. Paint is electro statically applied to assure uniform thickness of coating and to eliminate sags, runs, and other serious blemishes.
